It is to our understanding that this signature cut was signed by: Janis Joplin personally on the Dick Cavett Show Monday evening August 3rd, 1970 during a studio break for some fans in the audience. The card was taken from an autograph booklet.
It is known by the typical signature style of Ms Joplin that her slant, flow, pressure, size and characteristic formations are in comparison to other various exemplars that we have individually examined over time within our professional career in relation to this artist. It is our strong considered opinion that this signature is genuine.
